I’m not going to sugar-coat this…manifesting isn’t always easy! I thought once I knew how to manifest, that I could manifest my way out of doing things I didn’t want to do. That’s not how it works, but what I learned is that, even though it’s not easy, it’s worth it.

When you are manifesting, you have to continually grow and step into the new version of who you are becoming, you have to feel your feelings and get comfortable being uncomfortable. It’s not all rainbows and unicorns. No matter how many times I thought I could get around growing, feeling my feelings and being comfortable in the uncomfortable, I couldn’t.

Growing and stepping into the person who knows how to manifest sounds easy enough, right? If you are starting at $0 dollars and want to be a millionaire, you have to grow into the person who is a millionaire. There are many stories out there where people have won the lottery and go through all their money, only to end up back where they started. Why does this happen? Because they didn’t know how to be a person who has lots of money. What does a person who has lots of money do? How do they behave? What’s different about someone who starts at $0 and grows into a person who makes millions?

Feeling your feelings is one of the most difficult things in the beginning. It’s not something you think about when it comes to manifesting. Again, you might think once you know how to manifest, you’ll just be happy all the time and can avoid feeling your feelings. Feeling your feelings is part of the process. You have to allow the “old” to bubble up and let it go, and the best way to do that is to feel your feelings. You may have guilt or shame about how you screwed up in the past in how you handled money. You may not feel worthy of having more than what you already do. Feeling your feelings, allows those feelings to come to the surface, so you can feel them and then choose to let them go. 

Being comfortable in the uncomfortable. When manifesting, being uncomfortable comes up a lot. You want to make things happen, versus trusting that what you want is coming. Let’s say you want more free time, and you manifest that, but then you feel uncomfortable because you’re not used to having so much free time. That’s where you get to be comfortable in the uncomfortable. You wanted to create more free time, but what do you do when you actually have more free time? This is where you also get to grow, and step into being the person who has more free time. What do you do? Do you take naps? Do you binge Netflix? Do you learn a new skill you always wanted to learn? You get to choose what you get to do with all this new free time. 

I didn’t learn this all on my own of course! I had a coach, Cassie at Enchanted Life University, who created a program that led me step by step on what to do through daily assignments. She coached me to step into being the person who knew how to manifest. She held space for me when I had feelings to feel and guided me to get comfortable in the uncomfortable. It wasn’t always fun and it wasn’t always easy, but it sure was worth it!

Now that I know how to step into being the person who manifests what she wants, I am living my dream life! Learning to grow and step into being someone who gets paid to do what she loves, coaching and art. By feeling my feelings, I let go of lots of guilt and stories about money that no longer supported me. I also had to feel worthy of having more than what I already did. Feeling worthy of more, opened up so much for me, and now I feel worthy of all that I’ve created. Each time I want more, I have to step into becoming the person who does, who feels worthy of it, and be comfortable in the uncomfortable.
