How To Manifest: Being vs. Doing

You’ve tried so many manifesting things, and you don’t know if you want to try anymore! Are you BEING the person who manifests? Or are you DOING things to make you manifest? I was definitely the person who was DOING versus BEING. If I did X,Y,Z, then I deserved to have what I wanted. Unfortunately, that’s not how it works, and I felt like giving up on this whole manifesting thing many, many times.
Until I joined Enchanted Life U. I joined Enchanted Life U as the person who was “doing” versus “being” and many stories to support why I did the things I did in order to get more of what I wanted.
Being vs. Doing…let’s look at how they are different:
DOING is what you do. The actions you take to get what you want. Doing looks like this:
- Pushing or Forcing something to happen.
- Doing something to get someone else to change or doing something to make your circumstances change.
- Doing things (taking action) to feel valued, loved, appreciated
- Doing (saying or writing) 100 mantras a day, or repeating the same mantra over and over again to make it true (you know, the list of all the ways to manifest that you do to “make” it happen
- Figuring out the “how” to do something
BEING is allowing yourself to experience the present moment. Your behaviors, values and beliefs support who you are being. Being looks like this:
- Being the person who manifests
- Being the person who is loved
- Being the person who is worthy of what they want
- Being the person who is valued for what they have to offer
- Being the person who follows and trust inspiration
I used to do things (doing) to get value or feel worthy. I would clean the house, because I wanted those in my life to appreciate that I cleaned. I would cook dinner, because I wanted those around me to appreciate that I cooked. I did all of these things because I didn’t have a job. In order to feel better (not guilty) about not having a job, and to feel like I brought value to my family, I cleaned and cooked. I was DOING (taking action) to get something that I wanted (to feel appreciated and feel like I had value) instead of BEING the person who just appreciated and valued herself for what she brought to her family.
Having everything and anything we want, starts with us BEING the person who has the thing they want right now. To give it to ourselves first. So how do you start BEING the person who is (insert your own). I’ll share this example of BEING the person who is valued for what they bring to their family. You decide to mop the floors. In that moment, be the person who values themselves for mopping those floors. As you mop, be present, seeing the floors getting cleaner and cleaner. When you’re all done, look at your beautiful floors and say “WOW, I did a great job on those floors, they just sparkle and it smells so good in here!” In that moment, you were BEING the person who is valued and appreciated. This works in all areas of your life, BEING vs. DOING!
Now that I know the difference between BEING vs. DOING, I’m being the woman who is smart, confident and gets what she wants. Life is easier, manifesting is easier, everything is easier. I feel worthy of having what I want. I can relax and receive it all. Manifesting is about BEING vs. DOING.
