How To Keep Money - Why You Spend It Faster Than You Make It
Content
The first step to keeping money is understanding why you can’t keep it. If you spend it faster than you can make it, the answer is you are living the money story Survival.
What is a money story? It’s a story about money that you pick up by default. The story you have about money is unconscious at this point and it determines how you think, believe and behave when it comes to money. If you’re living the survival money story you definitely spend money faster than you can make it.
Here are some characteristics of those living the money story Survival:
* You feel like a hamster on a wheel. No matter how hard you work, there still isn’t enough money
*You feel constant stress about money and everything else that you need to get a handle on *You are either running at 110% or crashed out
A money story plays out like your favorite movie, which is a story told on the screen. When you hit play on your favorite movie for the 100th time, you know how it’s going to end. It doesn’t magically change endings the 101st time you see it. From the moment you see the opening scene, you know how the story ends. This is how your money story works. It’s the same situation with money over and over again.
Maybe you have tried to change in the past. You’ve probably longed to not be stressed about money. Have you wished you could have money when things come up? But you seem to always spend money faster than you can make it.
If you've tried and failed at keeping money it’s because you didn’t know this story was playing out in your life. You tried to change the end of the movie after the opening scene. It doesn’t work that way, but you CAN absolutely start to change the entire story now that you know what is happening.
You’re not the only one living a money story that keeps them from keeping money. Many people have or have had the money story Survival. Vicki Pace is an Enchanted Life U student and coach who was just like you. She used to spend money faster than she could make it too. It was common for her to overdraft her account buying things like toothpaste. She longed to be one of those people who could keep money.
Now Vicki always has money for the things she needs, like toothpaste, and more importantly for the things she wants. She travels, takes time off and keeps money in her savings account.
This is all possible for Vicki because she learned how to write a new money story. You can’t just fix or change your old story. You have to pull out a blank page and write a new powerful, money story. One that you want to be living and supports keeping money.
Vicki started writing her story in the Enchanted Life U program, Manifest $10K. In this program we teach you how to manifest $10,000 AND start writing the money story you want to be living.
