How to manifest more by saying no
Content
You may have heard a lot of people talking about how saying no is important to your manifesting. This can seem like the opposite of helpful, like it’ll mess everything up. You’re confused because you were always taught that you need to say yes so you can get more manifestations.
Saying no is in fact a very powerful tool in manifesting more of what you want.
Trusting your no - even when it’s something you should want is so important because something else might be being created that you don’t even know you want yet.
I was once offered an opportunity to go see a concert with one of my favorite composers with my best friend. It seemed like an awesome evening that I should have jumped at to say “Hell yes” to. But it didn’t feel like a yes. It felt like a no.
I was confused, but I trusted that my gut was telling me “no” even though it seemed like it should have been a hell yes. I let my friend know that I was grateful for the invitation, but that it didn’t feel like a “hell yes,” so it’s a no. She totally understood, and she had a great time without me.
This was happening during an important time in the NFL world. If you know me, you know I started following more closely my home football team, the Buffalo Bills, a few years ago. It was the playoffs, and during that time, the scheduled games and face-offs weren't announced until a few days before.
The night the concert was supposed to happen, I found out the Bills were playing that evening. My fiance asked if we wanted to cook and make an evening of watching it, so we did. That game was a game that went down in history for us - it was an offensively perfect game that we still talk about today. It was an epic win, and something that brought me further into the football community that I love so much today.
So you see, by saying no to the concert that didn’t feel like a “hell yes”, I was opening up the space for something even more amazing. I trusted my “no” and the universe delivered something better than I could’ve imagined - an amazing “hell yes” of a football game that I think about to this day. I got to be a part of football history by honoring my “no”.
When we say no to things, even things we might think we want, we are actually opening up to trusting the universe. This allows the universe space to deliver the things that you want, that you might not even know you want yet.
Manifesting more of what you want means saying yes to more of what you want, it also means honoring your instincts when they say “no”. This allows the universe the space to line things up for you for even more awesome to show up.
